I don't know why I bought this. I like cooked ginger, but not raw ginger tasting things.
Julie said she didn't hate it, but I notice she never finished a glass.
I poured it out. Seems to be a trend, I noticed another at the store, but I won't be trying that one.

Slipstream Cream Ale, Phillips, BC
Ok, I tried this before, and thought it had gone bad. It had, but its still a terrible beer.
Mike's had it before, and claims it was OK, but none of us had anything good to say about this latest try.
It tasted distinctly watered down, literally, like beer mixed with water, and ending with a strange and unpleasant flavour. The batch that was bad had a similar flavour, but much more intense. What are they thinking?

Chocolate Porter, Phillips Brewing, BC
I like Phillips. Reasonable beers, well-made.
And one weird one, the chocolate porter! Julie and I walked over to the Locus for a pint tonight (Julie's idea to cool down after some vigorous yogging). The chocolate was on tap, and it was pretty tasty! Definitely tasted of chocolate, but not too strong or weird. Very enjoyable!
