recommended for children 8 to 12 years old

We spent about 5 hours at the three playgrounds surrounding Duff's old
elementary school in Point Grey, after going for a walk along the
Camoson Bog boardwalk. A long day, and Leonie was pretty tired at the
end.

The sign reads:

"This equipment is recommended for children 8 to 12 years old.
Sufficient upper-body strength and coordination required."

This was a month after they turned three. I think the age
recommendations for playground equipment are ridiculous.
